~Reiki for Puppies & Dogs @ Sit. Stay. Play!

Updated September 2010
For almost two years, I had the wonderful opportunity to offer my healing services to the amazing dogs who blessed us with their Spirits and Spunk at Sit. Stay. Play! & The Paw Pad dog daycare & training centers.  It was part of my growth as a healer to begin to offer this powerful gift to animals, and part thank you to the dogs for allowing me to learn so much from them about how to be a kind, communicative, and better trainer.  It never ceases to amaze me; the way animals can be so aware of their bodies, the humble nature with which they will ask for or accept healing if it is needed or offered, and their capacity to allow the energy to nourish them on mental, emotional, and physical levels...  There are no human traits like skepticism or pride or embarrassment to hinder their requests or acceptance of healing energy.
It has been such a blessing for me to be a part of this process with the dogs.  In the winter of 2008, Eleasha sold Sit.Stay.Play! to move back to Pennsylvania and begin the work of growing her own private dog training practice.  The business survived, Eleasha commuted back and forth to continue teaching classes, and it was re-named The Paw Pad.  I stayed.  But all things have their transitions, and shortly before Eleasha was offered a new job at the Pennsylvania SPCA, I found that it was also time for me to accept a new opportunity in NYC.  I will still continue to offer Reiki sessions to current and new clients, but will no longer be located in Union, NJ.  I will be available for sessions in Jersey City, New York City, and in-home visits.
My deepest gratitude to Eleasha for all that she has taught me, for igniting my passion for training, and for the opportunity to spend time with dogs- these magnificent creatures that have brought me joy, companionship, and abundant lessons.  I look forward to continuing the journey.

i'm so excited to start a new partnership with the wonderful people at Sit. Stay. Play! in Union, NJ. Eleasha Gall, the owner & head trainer, is absolutely amazing. She has offered to share her space with me so that i can administer Reiki treatments for pets there. It is a safe, friendly environment where staff and owners alike are all committed to the best care & training for their furry friends.

My partner and i adopted an 8 week old puppy from a rescue shelter last December, and after two weeks, we enrolled her into class at Sit. Stay. Play! We've been taking classes with Eleasha ever since, and our only regret is missing out on those first two weeks. We have completed puppy class, basic obedience levels 1 & 2, advanced level 3, agility, and a tricks class together. We have also taken & passed the Canine Good Citizen Test so that Cornbread can continue training to become a therapy pet.

I am currently working at Sit. Stay. Play! during daycare hours, and apprenticing with Eleasha during class hours to learn as much as I can about the animals that bring us so much joy. I believe this continued education will enhance my practice, allow me to understand why our dogs behave the way they do, and how to connect with them on multiple levels so that i can administer the best possible care during Reiki sessions.

In a non-regulated field where many call themselves dog trainers, but few are actually equipped to live up to the task, Eleasha stands out as a well-seasoned, patient, and certified professional. Her years of experience and use of humane techniques, positive reinforcement, & praise create a delightful environment where both owners and companions are eager and happy to learn together. Eleasha is always available to answer any questions you may have, oftentimes staying after class to make sure everyone's concerns are addressed. There is never any doubt that her first responsibility as a trainer is to the health and well being of the animals and the proper education of their people. Being nerdy dog parents, we started doing our research a year before adopting, and we couldn't have found a better, more affordable, talented, and compassionate teacher. Now after a year, we have watched our little one grow into a well adjusted, well behaved, brilliant addition to our family who is on track to becoming a therapy pet. We cannot express how invaluable Eleasha's guidance has been to us, how grateful we are for her dedication & skill, and what an absolute joy our dog has brought to our lives. Whatever your training needs may be; help with an aggressive dog, basic obedience, or teaching your dog new tricks- we enthusiastically recommend Eleasha Gall's services for your pet companion!
